Permalink Reply by david destin on May 24, 2012 at 4:22pm i hesitate to call myself atheist. however, i am partial to the subgenius theory that "god" {all of the monotheistic "gods"} is an extra-dimensional entity that feeds on human suffering, the most poignant of sufferings. it is playing the human saps in a cosmic shell game, god/allah etc. is pitting the sheep against each other in order to generate food for itself.
my other theory is that religion is an elaborate justification for a basic facet of human nature: the need to feel superior to others. {a throwback to pack mentality}.

Permalink Reply by Ross Karpelman on December 2, 2012 at 1:15am Although I agree with most everything Penn says in this soliloquy, I hope he doesn't become as fanatical in his Atheism befliefs as say Pat Robertson or even better.. A little Robert Tilton? I'm just saying it's REALLY a fine line between belief and fanaticism... Especially if you are passionate about it as obviously Penn seems to be.
The true Athesist agenda at least in my interperation of it (Which is highly uneducated), seems like it would be "This is what I believe. You believe whatever works for you...I don't care!!!!)
I am a fan of your entire career Penn! If going on this mission is good for you or your bottom line; then by all means Brother... I understand! I know you gotta do what works for you! And if it's your passion, then all the better!
Here is my passion... Check us out if you get a chance...
It's 2 part of The most INTENSE Haunted Attraction in the Country...
1 Part WWE Raw but with WAY more Pyrotechnics
And 1 part "Theactual Satanism" complete with church protestors (That oddly enough our Patrons beat and spit on them and demand they leave, But my guys NEVER break character even when getting kicked, the other guys are standing around praying for them) and the Pastor of our ficticious Church get blown up at least twice a night. Check it out if you get a chance... We are in New Orleans first of all! Enough said! I hope you actually read these emails. I think you would get a kick on what we do! You keep up the great work Brother!
Need to get those books at some point... Especially the new one. Heard you on O&A and immediately checked out the pod cast! You're a pretty Fart Smeller... Speaking of Fart Smellers, here is some vintage Robert Tilton! I'm sure you seen it... But it is still HYSTERICAL. It doesn't take much... Just some good old fart humor is enough! Here is Robert Tilton at his best. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-JjaAh0NeU
Check out our site and let me know what you think. We have shopped our show a bit for TV but the experiece was TOO HOLYWOOD for us, And the producers didn't understand us, if that makes any sense. But if you think you want to hear our idea contact me. We have a VERY quickly thrown together reel that we only used in one of the 8 network pitches we did 2 years ago. We were almost greenlit for Syfy... But our producers weren't prepared. We have a very unique event. Just check out the site. If you want to see more, there are all kinds of highlights from The Travel Channel to FUSEtv. Sorry if you are still reading this. I will shut up now! Enjoy! www.houseofshock.com
