These might be the best brownies ever. I made them for a man I was trying to seduce and I was informed that I have ruined women and baked goods for him forever. In the good way, I hope. It’s so simple that a monkey could do this; though I don’t know if I would dare eat anything a monkey prepared, no matter how simple. Also, this is not my recipe: These be from www.thelondener.me, says I.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Box of cookie mix,
  • 1 Box of brownie mix,
  • 2 Eggs,
  • Oreos
  • Some oil
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F or 180°C (Seriously, who uses Celsius? I live in Canada and have only ever baked while looking at the Ferinheight part of the dial.)
  2. Line a baking tray with grease proof paper.
  3. Follow the instructions on the cookie mix box and stir until you have cookie dough, I usually add a little extra water and oil to what they suggest, it just keeps it moist as you'll be baking it for longer than suggested. An extra teaspoon of each is just right.
  4. Place a layer of cookie dough on the bottom to make the base. Add a layer of Oreos (or whatever tasty cookies you like. I’ve considered using Fudgee-Os or Pirate cookies.)
  5. Mix up the brownie batter as per the package instructions. Pour that chocolate-y goodness all over the Oreos and cookie dough.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes. Let cool. Slice. Seduce someone with mass quantities of sugar. Profit!

WARNING: Eating more than one of these at a time might cause you to slip into a sugar-induced, food coma. You have been warned. ;)

What kind of cookie mix?

I used chocolate chip, but I think peanut butter would work well too.

you've got the original creator's link wrong, you accidently replaced the last o with an e.   http://www.thelondoner.me/2011/06/slutty-brownies.html

Did a Canadian filmmaker find a MIA Vietnam vet, declared KIA decades ago?

No. My massive three part investigation into claims a KIA Vietnam vet named John Hartley Robertson was found by a Christian missionary.

Vanilla & Chocolate Magic Swirtle

Posted by The Verge on May 15, 2013 at 1:14pm 3 Comments

I wanted to support Penn's latest promotion on Celebrity Apprentice, and went out an purchased 10 pints of Vanilla & Chocolate Magic Swirtle ice cream.  I gave 9 of them away, but kept one for myself.

Before I continue, you have to know that I have spent the last four months watching everything that has been put into my system, and have lost 54 pounds.  A few spoonfuls of Penn's new flavor was going to be a small treat.

Holy Diarysweetgoodness!!  I wasn't expecting it to…

Dogs Are Also Baboon-man's Best Friend!

Posted by Captain Snarky on May 15, 2013 at 8:17am 0 Comments

Baboon monkeys kidnap feral dogs as pups and raise them as family members.  The baboons groom and play with the dogs and the dogs feed with the baboons.  The dogs are well cared for by their respective baboon families and stand guard at night, protecting the baboons from enemies and other feral dogs.

See?   Even a baboon is smart enough to realize the potential power of his -- and man's -- best friend, the dog.   …
